I recently purchased this 1962 GMC 7000 series Tilt Cab Peter Pirsch Ladder Truck. From what i've been told it was purchased new by the Jackson, Wisconsin Fire Department, then went to the Hartford, Wisconsin Fire Department, then finished it's career at the Milan City Missouri Fire Department, before the collector that I bought it from purchased it. It has a 75 foot ladder, and is powered by a 702ci., V12 engine.

Looking good Spanky! How did you get it to your place in NC? It also looks like it has the mechanical slide throttle linkage. Make sure you keep it lubed up or it could get stuck WOT. Here is a picture of the 637 ci V-8 in our 67 GMC.
