This is looking so good! I'm currently fitting the radiator for my 1940 too and I'm having serious concerns about what the previous owner did. The upper grille doesn't seem to match up so either the upper grill is warped or the front panels are. Would you mind tossing me a measurement for the 2 bolt holes at the front of the grill?

I think I got the spot you were looking for… came out at 17 1/4 inches from head to head
Ordered some mix and match jewelry for the truck that I'm hoping to get mounted this week. The math says they should fit but it's going to be tight and/or might require some minor modification to the bed side.
That's a lot of tire for your wheel well, it will look nasty if you can get them under the truck.

Come, Bleed or Blister something has got to give!!! 59' Apache 31, 327 V8 (0.030 over), Muncie M20 4 Speed, GM 10 Bolt Rear... long term project (30 years and counting)
Also figured out that my shiny new alternator wouldn't clear the top frame rail due to it's body size...so out goes the power master and in goes the alternator from an 85 samurai...not that it matters since it's mounted low and out of sight...still sigh
So… I got the alternator mounted and it looks like I may have to re-think the current configuration. Slight pulley alignment and possibly limited adjustment… but on the plus side.. it now clears the frame rail.
The trucks original trans crossmember was cut in the middle to make way for the TH400 so the plan is to have a removable support brace to take the load behind the leaf springs. Using what's left of the original drop brackets as the base.
