Hi everyone,

I'm looking for one tie-down hook for a 1948-1953 Chevy truck bed.

I don't believe those were factory. There was nothing like that on my truck. Your best bet is to try your local hardware store. You may have to buy 4 new ones if you want them all to match.

Also try all the truck vendors, Chevs of 40's, The Filling Station etc and even ebay.

It's easier to get forgiveness than permission!

You could also look at farm/feed/grain supply outlets for truck rack hardware.

Type Bolt-on Steel J Rope Hook into your browser. Quite a selection.

Is a restoration ever finished?
