Been pretty quiet in here lately. Thought I'd come in here and yammer on about what I have going on.
I scored a complete drivetrain from a '51 3100. All it is missing is the cab and bed. I got it from a dude that did an S10 swap.
He threw in bedsides, a grill, a heater, and a big blue tub full various goodies too numerous to list. Got a good price for everything. Free! Just cost me gas for my buddy Effing Randy's truck to go pick it up 100 miles away.
It has 4 new tires and he said the 216 runs.
I have a '52 5 window cab and front clip to go on it. Now all I need to do is offload the '52 3/4 ton front and rear axles, and dually style 6 lug rims and tires. I am running out of storage room.
