For Personal Reasons, my recently widowed daughter needs to sell her 1955 GMC 3/4Ton PU. It has newly rebuilt 3.7 rear end, new brakes all around, new 16 inch truck tubeless with 100% tread, new radiator, new 12 volt alternator, new electric choke, 235 good running motor, dry air cleaner, great 4 spd floor shift. Needs a few bumps beaten out, needs new primer n paint, no missing tin, licensed in Idaho, can drive away after snow melts. New front and back bumpers, new windshield and rear glass included but not yet installed, new windshield gaskets, heater works, but thermostat needs replaced. No oil leaks, no antifreeze leaks, usual crappy vacuum wiper motor. Hood was replaced by previous owner with Chev 3600 labeled, and was registered/titled by him as a 1949 Chevrolet, not 55 GMC. Front windshield curved and GMC dash with gauges so dead giveaway. If pictures do not show up here (I am real novice), email me at vayidaho@protonmail.com for pics to be sent to you. Runs Great! Asking $7500. Can drive away after snow melts. Can email to vayidaho@protonmail.com or call 208-217-5035 to discuss by voice. Phone Text not answered. Thank you. Tom

You have a few different versions of what this truck is and what is going on posted in different sections over the last couple years.

Strange , well confusing for sure ...1949/1954/1955 ? Chevy / GMC ? , 3100 or 3600 ? Posts in 2020, 2021, and 2022.....

I'm almost ( but not quite ) tempted to call the guy and offer to help him sort it out, but because the information is so "scattered" I'd be afraid I might be inserting myself into some sort of scam.

I just tried calling his phone number and got the same recorded message. If it were a scam you could get through to him. I think there’s something else going on.

Note; I just sent him an email asking for pics and a video. I’ll let you know if he responds.
