I have really messed up. My Gmail accounts and others are difficult to access.

That really depends on what "it" is. There are a lot of things that can be reset. I am used to "reset to default settings" and "reset to factory settings", but I don't think I have seen a "reset to original" settings.

That sounds pedantic, but it can be important. Reset to "default" usually clears things like the cache and and changes to shortcuts/menus/etc. Reset to "factory" is often equivalent to wiping the device and starting over.

Functionally, a "default" will not usually result in data loss while a "factory" is much more likely to do so.

You posted a picture a while back that you had taken with your phone. Can you do that again to show us what you are seeing?

IT was the default reset. I knew the factory reset was a wash, I am planning to take it to a shop next week. I just hope I can explain what I want to be done. Should I call you Bill??????

If you are looking at a default reset, you will probably not lose any data. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling youtube?

Let me count the times and ways. Now it is not only youtube but also my Gmail. Each time I try to open it, it says to install account, and when I do it says account already done but I still cannot log in. It is a little use account and I can access it on my cell or tablet. This is what I am up against, they speak a different language. When they say in the simplest terms they don't mean it. here goes.
Resetting Chrome settings will disable the home button on your browser. For the unaware, the home button is present on the left side of the URL box. You can either set it to open the new tab page or customize it and use your own URL. That is only one paragraph of many.
