I recently purchased a reproduction chevy truck grill guard. I noticed it tilts backwards when installed. Has anyone found a fix for this, to have the grill guard sit up straight?
My guess is that it’s made to have a slight slant to it. Probably less likely to fail when contacted by a deer if it has an angle to it instead of hitting it at 90 degrees.
Can you rotate the gaurd outwards or does the bumper cut-out fit only one way?
Great looking gaurd with the shiny new bumper and paint!!

It is in the cut of bumper guard, it tilts back as you tighten the bolts. I was thinking of making rubber spacer to go between the guard and the bumper.
There’s a truck in the Gallery Forum, My Girl Red, that has a similar guard. It sits straight up on that truck. You may want to contact the owner of that truck.
