I have a bunch of vintage Mercury outboards. Some time ago, I took 5 bronze propellers and played "Jingle Props on them. "Jingle Props" by the Quicksilver Quintet: http://www.sandeace.com/waali/QuicksilverQuintet.wav Do you think the same kind of thing could be done with Stovebolt parts? "Jingle Parts"? Side covers, valve covers, etc?

There was no video. Just audio. Sounded a little "tinny"  Some spring leaves cut to the proper lengths could make a suitable marimba.

Souinded ok .. it is a first for me to hear notes off boat motor props. When I am at my brothers I will have to ask him if I can conk his Mercury motor prop and see what note it is. ""sounds" like you had fun doing it..
