Looking for an SM-318 3-speed manual transmission that’s in good condition. Want one ready to install as-is and ready to go. No time or $$ to spend fixing up a junker. I don’t expect it to be cheap, so willing to pay a fair price. Trying to get my 1950 1/2 ton back on the road.
Thanks

Hi Mike, I’d prefer you telling me a bit about the transmission…. Year, condition, when it was last used, and any issues….. and then name your price. Even though 3-speeds aren’t in high demand, you know better than I do what you think is a fair price. Freight might make it cost prohibitive.

Mike, tell me about your transmission and how much you want for it.

I’m still looking for an SM318 3-speed tranny in “ready-to-go” condition. Got one??

I have a three speed transmission GM #591816 that I took in with a 216. I’m keeping the engine, but have no use for the transmission. I’ll take $50 plus packing and shipping cost. I opened the side plate and it looks good, spins good. I’m no mechanic, and I wouldn’t want to tell you that it’s a great one, hence the price. PM me.
