Actually, arena sports lost most of their appeal when the Romans took the swords away from the gladiators. If you're going to put 22 underworked and overpaid steroid abusers out in a little cow pasture trying to hurt each other, why not give them some weapons and make it interesting? Jerry

I never had watched the NFL much except for the Superbowl. When my son came home from college in the states several years ago (lacrosse player) he was really into the NFL (much to the chagrin of his mother-she's not a fan). He was trained as an athletic trainer and was with Villanova football when they won a national championship and he had an internship with the Kansas City Chiefs (before Andy Reid). So he has some interesting insight into the game. I watch my local CFL team games and don't mind the NFL, but I'm ok if I don't watch every game every weekend.
It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.

George Well good for you , I like the Chiefs too .. they got to the big game last year ..they know how to do it now ,, Type in Jessed Davis on websearch ,, No # 77 Offensive Guard ,,,,Jesse is my Great Nephew from my older brother. he is not a big name in the NFL ,but I am proud of him making that far getting into the NFL and the $$$ is nice for him also.

No NFL, MLB, NBA, WNBA, NASCAR. I will watch the occasional college football game, and I like the PGA, and LPGA. But I also play golf, so there's that. Watched Notre Dame blowout Georgia Tech on Saturday. 117 scored vs 9 points allowed in the last three games!

I would rather watch grass grow and paint dry then watch 22 grown men beat each other up over something they call a pig skin that’s made out of cowhide
