Hello
I have just replaced the oil line to the rocker oiler on my 216 engine. My question is regarding the rocker oiler on the rocker shaft. How much rotation is normal of the oiler on the rocker shaft. Mine has about 180 degrees of rotation with the oil line disconnected. I see that there is a pin the goes through the rocker shaft and the oiler and am concerned the pin may be Brocken.
I have attached a picture of the oiler. Any help or advice would be appreciated
Thank you

Looks OK to me. I am not sue what the pin does, but I suspect it keeps the two rocker shafts separated. Others will correct me if that is not the case

I think the pin is to keep the assembly centered between the shafts.
Without it, if one of the springs was slightly stronger the assembly could be pushed one way, causing the supply tube to possibly wear on the head, causing a leak.
