If you accidentally close a window in which you are composing a long reply, is there a way to get it back?

Not that I'm aware of if you "close the window". If you click on a link or go to a different page using the same window the back button should reload the exact page you left. To my knowledge actually closing the window deletes the data. I could be wrong.

I’ve lost too many drafts that way to this forum and others that I compose my lengthy post in notes on my iPad or word on my windows laptop. No doubt, my fault, but it’s really frustrating. Once I’m done, I copy and paste it. Saves my sanity!
