When the projectile weighs 15K pounds, and the vehicle that delivers it is a C-130, "close" is usually good enough. We called 'em "Daisy Cutters" and the rotorheads appreciated not having to cut their own LZ's through 300 feet of triple canopy jungle. An air burst about 50 feet AGL would flatten a 100 yard diameter clearing, and didn't leave a crater in the middle.

Hey Jerry, just now read your initial post. Sorry to hear ya got the "vid" but very happy to hear your on the way to a complete recovery. Appreciate you sharing your experiences at the hospital and it sound like your Doctor is a straight up kind of fella, and that's really good to have. We've never met, but through your posts on Stovebolt and responses to mine, I feel like I know you. Get better quick, your family needs you and your friends do too! Praying you get well soon.

I can't wait for you to come back full force. No one has insinuated that I have less than two brain cells to rub together for near forever.
Bartamos appears to have become all soft and squishy as of late, so he is of little use in that regard.

I've been home for a week after spending several days in ICU. Any attempt to shove me back into that torture chamber will result in some Kung Fu moves Mr. Miyagi hasn't thought of yet! The only downside is that the boundaries of my world will now now consist of the length of an oxygen concentrator hose, possibly for a few months!
