Hello All, I am still looking for a 3/4 ton or one ton frame to start a project, however, I will buy a half ton frame instead, and switch the plans a bit if I find one. I need to try to start while I still have good weather, and I'm not getting any younger! If know of a half, 3/4, or one ton frame or complete rolling chassis that is available, please let me know. Thank you! Mike Stone.

When I ran a shop in Atwater I might have been able to help out, but that was in the mid-1970's. There was a used car lot there back then called "Econo-Cars". The owner's son build a car similar to the Crown Corvair with a mid-engine V8, but he did Crown one better- - - -instead of a small block Chevy, he used a 392 Chrysler hemi! Harry would be in his late 60's or early 70's now. If you can find him, it's possible he's still got a few connections in the central San Joaquin valley. Good luck! Jerry

Please allow me to clarify. I am seeking an advanced design pickup frame, 1947 to 1953. I need a 3/4 ton or one ton, not 1/2 or ton and a half. Either GMC or chevy. Not a COE or anything other than pickup. Thanks for any suggestions.
