J Lucas, we should be at the Alderson’s Friday night for BBQ and Mongos Garage all day Saturday. It will be more like the Homecoming, truck show will be replaced with BBQ and seminars on Saturday along with getting to know everyone. More laid back than being at the show.
Plans are still in the works. Don

Just talked to Mongo and the event is still on. Vicki and I have reservations at Quality Inn just south of I-70 at Noland Rd. We will be dropping off the BBQ Friday afternoon. No door prizes this year, we are using those funds to feed everyone Saturday. Have not confirmed Friday night at the Alderson's. If that falls thru we can gather at Mongo's garage Friday night.
Got this info from Mongo yesterday: Hopefully first thing in the morning Saturday we can make a run over to the Salvation army for the flag retirement ceremony my Boy Scout troop is planning so I'd say meet at the shop about 8:00 convoy out about 8:30ish the Ceremony starts at 9:00 and should last about an hour.
The address for the shop is 800 S Delaware St., Independence, MO 64050, Delaware is a dead end street and I'm at the very end, so just about the time you think your lost there is a Red Ag gate on the left and the driveway goes down the hill to the shop. Once the lower lot is full folks can park in the grass half way down the drive on the left. What other details do we need to figure out? Also I've invited the members of the truck club, Jim Carter, and some of the Firetruck & ATHS guys. Mongo
So Ron, are you going to attend and feast on some of Vicki's cookies? Don

Well, Don you know I would love to feast on Vicki's cookies but the 12th is when my granddaughter is picking up the Encore. So probably not.
