1952 Suburban seat springs

I just purchased a 1952 Suburban project. It has all 3 row seats. But the two front seats, driver & small jump seat are missing the bottom seat springs. Since Suburban parts are so expensive & hard to find used, I am hoping I can take a truck seat spring & shorten it to fit the driver side.
The smaller jump seat has the springs, but the frame around the springs is rusted be-on repair. Has any one shortened PU seats to fit 60/40 seats?
I was told that driver seat is same as middle seat but built stronger & taller to last longer doe to more usage? Has any one have any in-site on this problem?

Car chat means talks about Chevy's. All other car makers only build transportation.

I don't work on my cars, I entertain my self in my garage, so my nabor tells me,

Sir, I am doing the exact restoration of a '52 'Burb, except I haven't gotten to the jump or driver seat yet. I plan to replace springs or find another one either on this site, or Ebay, or at a southwestern junkyard. Good luck, have fun, and most importantly have patients. These projects are years in the making because of the expense and time involved. Thanks Darrell. V/r, Nick

I have all three row frames & springs except the bottom two front seats springs, so I'm looking for PU truck bottom seat springs to shorten them to match my frames. That should work?

I have done this in the past, I have made the 3 rd row seat cushions from an a driver,s front seat and using parts from a pickup seat cushions. it is time consuming.
I believe i have an extra driver,s seat lower part in an old sea container . You need to PM me for father information on that seat cushion.

Does PU bottom seat springs snap into the frame like Suburban front seat springs do?
