The official website lists Covid19 as the reason for cancelling the show.

OK, let’s think about this some. I did look at their show site and it does look like the show has been canceled.
T-Shirts have not been ordered yet, hotels have not been reserved yet, door prizes have not been gathered yet and I don’t understand why an outdoor event would be canceled?

The Missouri State Fair is a go, county fairs are still happening and folks have quit living scared.
I have to stop there or get in trouble.

We may have to rethink the whole Reunion Gathering?

Yeah, I heard back from Classic today. Riverside where the event takes place has some requirements that will make it hard to put on the show. Classic like a lot of other business has had a lot of turnover and are really short staffed at the moment so they don't fell with the additional restrictions that they'll have enough crew to put the show on.
I agree I wish we could have saved it this year, their are a lot of other events going on, I was in Springfield, MO for the Swap Meet last weekend. That said we will push on.
Anyone that would like to still come we could do a Stovebolt Reunion at my new shop. I'll look into what other events we could do while in town.

I know that it will sound selfish but I had some things come up that would make it difficult for me to attend. I am sorry because I do look forward to seeing the stovebolt clan at least once a year.

The Reunion is not dead yet.
The ERT (emergency response team) has been activated and are working out a 48 hour recovery plan now.
We will be posting that plan by late tomorrow.

Well, poo.

I canceled my hotel reservations, today was the last day I could do it. Sherry couldn't make the trip this year but has several of the same days off that I do. So, I'm sticking close to home this year and hanging with her.
