So can you replace the torsion bar A frame front suspension and such over to a bit more modern coil spring frame type front end? On a DRW truck??

It's a 6 tire 2 axle truck😁I want it to stay that way😍

Hy GMC-V6, welcome, I am sure a swap to a coil spring type crossmember from a newer truck could be accomplished, if you went new enough you could even end up with disc brakes. That being said, why do you want to change from a rare and unique suspension system that provides a very comfortable ride?

Because they make wheel bearings for the 72-87 trucks they don't make wheel bearings for my truck anymore. Plus disc brakes and possible power steering aren't a bad thing either😉

Not sure about "more modern", most K series G.M. pickups have used torsion bar front suspension since 1987.

"Front axle swap"?????????? I don't think I've ever seen a vehicle with a front axle with torsion bar suspension! Maybe an early Volkswagen bug?

Hy GMC-V6, I just checked RockAuto's website and SKF bearings are still available BR2 and BR5 and they are less than $8.00 each.

My truck isn't a 4 wheel drive it's a Rear wheel drive so it's a C-Series...
