Sorry, you are correct - no code is shown/given/linked-to for the 20% off of any iems discount.

I will delete my posts above later today.

Just tried it but it doesn't work, I did click on the JC page to get the code.

I sent an email to sales@oldchevytrucks.com, they'll take care of it. I don't need too much but have been wanting to get some metal stripping for the bed of my truck, he's got some 76" pieces of stainless for $20, you need 5 of those. The angle strip for the sides is pricey, $69.50/ea. Something I will buy so I will take the 15% discount!

Who is making/updating your web pages?

Newbies here might not know how good a vender/company you are/have.

Thanks for many decades of good services.

Tim

No worries, Jim has helped me plenty and almost always can get parts that are listed as out of stock when I need them. They are some of the most helpful folks. I probably wouldn't understand my engine if it wasn't for Jim's patience in figuring out what I have. At the time other know-it-alls insisted what I have, but they were wrong. I have a mixed high performance 3836848 head with a '53 block, which is using a 6v 139t ring gear on the flywheel. Jim helped me figure that out. Only a '53 will mate up with a more recent head from '54-'62 and be able to use the older 6v flywheel. Sometimes shipping is higher than I expect, but it's a small price to pay for the service.

Hmmm...still no reply, not sure what is going on. I sent a message through Ebay which Jim usually answers to, but no answer from him or sales who I sent an email to.

Guess I will call them tomorrow. ohwell (too late tonight)

EDIT: I take that back, in the past 20 minutes he sent me a reply on Ebay and said they would honor the code. dance

They honored the discount and I wanted to make a note for anyone redoing their bed.

The sides are sold in pairs, and I'm told those are welded on the side, and the majority of people probably don't need them, but my bed has been redone and am pretty sure mine are missing. When I get the wood out I'll be able to tell more.

Anyway, just to note, BPS1003 is sold in a pair for $69, the centers are $20/ea, so about $135 with discount. Not sure if I'll use hickory or hard maple, I have some of each. I plan to varnish mine so they don't warp.

If you need something, call them up and tell them the website wouldn't take the NEW21 code. wink

Has anyone tried ordering from Jim Carter recently? I can put items in my cart but it is not allowing me to check out.
