I may be driving the 54 some this winter, The tires are in need of replacement, decent tread but they have been on there since early 2000 at least. What tire should I get? I am thinking of a winter tire or an aggressive all-season. What says you. BTW I only drive it 3000 a year and the majority of that is to KC and back. The rest is around town or 30-mile trips to see a friend.
I have the cooper winters on mine just because I got a almost new set for a ridiculous deal from my brother in-law and I liked the chunky tread pattern and squared off edge that looked like it would belong on a old farm truck. They drive nice and quiet and i have put over 10k miles on them without any complaints. I do not drive it in the snow though.

I found out you can go to Amazon and order tires and they will send them to a dealer and have them installed. The tires are the same and are $40 cheaper for the very same tire. I went to Tire Barn here and they said yes. The ones I looked at on Amazon are the Cooper Evolution at $89.99 each plus $24.99 installation. Tire Barn was about $140.00
Yes, they have my vote also. I bought some bias ply trailer tires from them for an old trailer. I got Deestones (thailand). They were for split rims...
They had a sale for 15% off, so I bought 8, and shipping was free.
I'm curious about the 225/75r16 tires. Those are the exact same size as the 650r16 original tires, best I can tell.
Are those tires tubeless radials? And if so, did you need to buy different rims to run the radials?
I do have radials on mine, but previous owner replaced with 15 and used 235/75r15, about 1/4" smaller in diameter.
