The original owner of my truck is dead. I think the previous owner would say "I want it back"' George

The judge that bought my 37 Buick new would be very happy. The guy that bought the 34 Chevy coupe would probably say "You made a FORD out of it!"( V8 and NO wood).

I would like to think they would say “wow it looks just like the last time I saw it”. If they drove it they would likely say “where did all this power come from”? And “air conditioning”???? I think whoever it was would say I did a good job preserving it and sneakily upgrading it. I built it in a way that the original owner would hop in and turn the key and stomp the starter and pull it into gear and drive away like he would have 72yrs ago. All appearing as stock.

Barnfind49 said; "If they drove it they would likely say “where did all this power come from”? " LOL, I'm reminded of the time my Dad (back in '71 or so) borrowed the Duster in my sig line for a trip to town. The Duster was pretty peppy at the time and he came back a bit shaken and swore off ever driving that Death Trap again. Seems he pulled out onto a busy highway and to get out of the way of a fast approaching vehicle, leaned on the ol 340 a bit hard. It did get sideways and he had to get on the wheel pretty quick to save it. I still chuckle at the thought, would sure have liked to been there with a video cam.
I could see your original owner getting in the same situation.

Grandpa would shake his head at all the time & money I've spent on this old bucket of bolts. But he'd definitely take it for a spin too.

I think the original owner of my truck (the US Army) would have said "this old hulk is still here taking up space???...it is way past its intended lifespan of 4 months!!
