Hello All!

New to the forum, and I’m hoping to offer up some parts to anyone interested in them.
I recently purchased a 52 GMC 9100 (Chev 1-1/2 ton), with a dump bed. It has the PTO driven hydraulic pump as is common (from what I understand) for this setup.
For all the purists, I apologize for what I’m about to say....I plan to remove the cab, and put it on something newer and safer. It’ll be a daily driver for me, and non-power drum brakes in North America’s worst traffic (Toronto), is a death wish.

So, the frame and everything else on it (except for the cab) is available to anyone who wants/needs it, free of charge, glad to help. I have no need for it, and I’d very much prefer the parts go to someone who’s trying to keep an old girl on the road, vs sending into to the scrap.

I live in Toronto, so if anyone is interested, I guess you can leave me a note on the forum and we’ll sort out the details.

Cheers!

Here’s a pic of the old girl!

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Welcome from York Region, just north of you. Scary freeways in Toronto, that's for sure. Get a hold of Bill Peeters at Bill's Truck Shop, near Courtice. I am sure you can deal with him.

Welcome to the 'bolt. Hopefully the remains of your truck will find a good home! Please post it in the "free stuff" forum as noted above.

Another quality post.

Welcome to the Stovebolt. It looks like you have some good sheet metal there. There are folks that are looking for things like good drums and other drivetrain parts. In one way, driving with lots of steel around you on Toronto are highways is a good thing!

It must have been quite a trip for that truck to come from Manitoba.
