Hello, I have decided it is time to sell my 1949 Chevrolet 3800 1-ton pick up (not an easy decision). I restored it from the frame up and tried to keep it as original as possible. The only thing not 1949 is the engine which is a 1959 - 235 restored to look like a 216 of that year (Valve cover) and it has electronic ignition (a blessing). It is a 6 volt system. New 17 x 7.50 tires. Drives like the big truck it is. Solid and reliable. It is a real head turner. The paint was new in 1990 and still looks good. There are some areas that need touching up but do not detract. The dash needs some touch up as well and I have the original paint for it. I have just added new front and rear bumpers as of 8-13-21. They are not shown in the photos but I can send updated photos if you would like them. A rebuilt Hydrovac brake unit and a 1949 1-ton spare tire under frame hanger as well as a many misc. parts go with it. Please private message me and I will provide you with my e-mail and phone number as well as supply more information - etc.

This website requires that you list a price. How much are you asking?

From Using the Swap Meet:

Guidelines for use:
1. Please use the appropriate forum in the Swap Meet for your ad (i.e., Stovebolt related eBay/Craigslist links go in the "eBay and Craiglists Links" forum!)
2. Keep titles brief but make the ad itself as descriptive as possible. Include price in the Subject line of "For Sale" ads.
3. Do not post announcements of your ads in the other forums.
4. Use a LINK for any images. Here's why!
5. Ads will remain for 30 days; feel free to re-post but be considerate and delete posts once done. Excessive bumping will get the post deleted.

Besides "hardshell", another Bolter has notified us that you need to include a price range - at least in the body of the post. In our experience, it helps sell your stuff Just think: you'd want someone to list it if you were buying. thumbs_up

Thanks,
Peggy M

The first five days after the weekend are the hardest.
