Painted dash, floor, and driver's pedestal seat mount on the 1952 Chevrolet Suburban using Pecan Brown paint bought from Jim Carters.

Looking good, NJC. thumbs_up

I'm getting closer to interior paint myself, but mine will be the standard pickup color. Also got the paint from Jim Carter.

On another note, got the brake system filled and bled today. I'm really bummed though, as it turns out the MIC wheel cylinders had metric bleeders on them, even though the bolts holding them on were American thread. Tried a 3/8 wrench but it was too small. Had to go with 10mm. Also found out that brake fluid works pretty well at removing enamel paint. Didn't hurt the epoxy primer though.

Mine was also out for the 4th 🇺🇸! Lots of waves and thumbs up while cruising. Everyone appreciates the old american iron. Before hitting the road I greased up every fitting and gave the brakes a quick but perfect adjustment and it was a dream to cruise all weekend. Found this cool spot that I had to use as a backdrop for a pic.

Nick!! Glad to see the 'Burb coming together! I finally changed out the oil in my SM420 to 90 weight mineral oil. I could tell a difference.

Thanks Kevin & John. I've finished interior sides of 1952 Chevrolet Suburban in Pecan Brown original color.

Barnfind49, That’s a collector picture. Expect to see that on a truck calendar someday. Good job!

Barnfind49, Totally agree with DES57, that's one great image! You should watermark it.

Simple additions accomplished recently; Lubed and reattached the left cab vent so I can get some air at 50 mph. New manual throttle cable. Decided I would add decals for oil filter, air cleaner, valve cover cap. Waiting for their arrival. Have ordered OD transmission lock out shaft seal, to be installed on arrival.
