Yesterday was probably my 3rd or 4th trip around the neighborhood in the truck since its debut in April of this year. The object of yesterday's test was to confirm that the speedometer that I just got in the mail was working.

As I rounded the first turn of my test route, the turn passes a house with a pool out back. I could see a bunch of kids out there swimming and sitting, and all of them stopped what they were doing to see what was happening on the street smile I rolled by and continued on my way.

I went through the neighborhood, and ended up circling around the same location a second time. The kids were all watching.

My youngest son (12) usually runs alongside the truck, because it always makes him happy to see it moving. When I got back to the house, he said "DID YOU HEAR THOSE KIDS AT THE POOL?" The truck is currently running headers with only cherry bombs on it (no pipes yet), so, I had to admit I did not hear anything outside of the truck smile He said they were all yelling HI!!!!!! HI!!!!!! WOW!!!!!

I'm now wondering:

1. how many vids were taken, and uploaded, of my truck passing by, and
2. how many new souls have now been introduced into this hobby

This is still one of the best hobbies ever grin
