Won A Trophy Today

I drove my panel truck to a car show today, just to keep it limber and keep the battery charged. I arrived late and parked some distance away to avoid the crowds. But despite those handicaps I was surprised as heck when they announced my truck as the People's Choice winner! My truck was never intended to win shows. It is purposely very plain and unadorned, just the way an old panel truck should look. But apparently some people appreciated the subtlety.

I agree, that's how I like my woman as well. Its called simple elegance. I like the plain look, I did mine the same way, just as it came from the factory. As they say, you can put lipstick on a pig and its still a pig. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats!!!

That look always makes me think of my father describing those vehicles from BITD to me that were called "sleepers" smile They would pull up next to you looking like that, and then, proceed to blow your doors off. grin

PS: my Panel won't look that "subtle" when it's done grin

Great looking truck. Have you considered some subtle artwork on the rear "window" area panels?

Another quality post.

Its always nice when folks appreciate your hard work with their vote of approval. Ride with pride, drive the wheels off of it.
Keep trucking brother.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
