Follow these links to several pictures of a NOS 6004 kit, where part numbers are visible you can cross the applicable years.

I use electronic self cancelling turn signal switches from a Kawasaki motorcycle for $20 or you can buy an after market kit for $100. One of my cars has a right and left momentary button and the other has a return to center toggle switch on a column mounted stalk. A quick push and the signal blinks 11 times then shuts off. A one second push and it blinks 21 times and cancels. Impossible to forget signal is on. On the right-left button one if you push both buttons you have 4 way flashers till you manually cancel. They were used on motorcycles because you can't hear the clicking over the motor and can't see the indicator light(s) in bright sun light.

53 and me Found a 7 wire guige at the a wiring diagram internet, wired it all-up crazy as could be !! Shot it with tuner cleaner worked fine after that. 7 wire interlocks your stop lights with turn signals, takes only 3 wires to the rear of the truck. Try e-bay, get tuner cleaner amazon or electronic repair like frey.
