Craig, I'm open to join anyone coming up I-26 which I think several will be coming....as in I-26 to I-40.
........anyone coming up I-85 then onto 26 will also be coming my way. I'm only 4 or 5 miles from where the two cross.
I could join up at exit 15 on I-26, which is only 15 miles till you cross over into N.C.....still staying on 26.

....or we could simply choose a place and time anywhere along the route and we could figure out our own time schedule to be there.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

I will be heading up a day early to set up the Camper but I'd still like to meet up with you and maybe eat lunch. I decided on not dragging a Camper through Atlanta so we'll be heading up I-26 to I-40.

Alvin and Craig,
We are heading up early on Thursday (7-8). Where do y'all connect with I-40? In an earlier post I suggested the Pilot/Flying J truck stop at Exit 24 in Waynesville, NC. It is just a few miles west of Asheville. But I am up to meet up with y'all anywhere along I-40. Just let me know the approximate time so I can plan accordingly.
Edit: There is a restaurant, "The Buttered Biscuit" in Waynesville. Sounds like breakfast is their specialty. A lot of 5 star reviews. Might be better for breakfast than Pilot/Flying J.

I would like to join up with you guys also. I’ll be coming up I-26. Takes me about 2.5 hours to get to I-40 exit from Edgefield. Just let me know when and where you plan on meeting up.

We are going to leave Brunswick Wednesday afternoon and head up I-95 to I 26, will most likely spend the night somewhere and continue on in the morning. I like PaPa Joe's idea about meeting at "The Buttered Biscuit", I'll need to look it up. Does anyone know about the parking situation there?

593ETow and PapaJoe, TUTS59, I'm pretty doggone flexible. I can go about anytime. I'm close to I-26. Only about 15 miles before I cross the N.C. line. I think then the mile markers "count down" for me starting with about marker 67 but not sure.
So, for me to get to say mile marker 24 would take me about and hour the way I drive!!!

....all of us may not be able to do it together but I'm willing to meet up with whoever I can.
...not sure when Jay "lugnutz" is leaving either.

I had planned to drive my 37 but may end up driving my regular pickup. HRL has a rear end I'm interested in if we can work out details. Still, I'm game for whoever or how many of us can link up. As we get closer we chime in. Heck, only about 5 weeks away. Yippeeee.

Achipmunk, 593ETow and TUTS59, I am about 2 1/2 hours east of Exit 24. So as soon as I know what approximate time y'all wanna meet up, I can schedule my leave time. We (my son, grandson and I) can get up as early as necessary to meet up with y'all. I'm looking forward to some good biscuits and gravy for breakfast, with some good company! Like Alvin said, I am pretty flexible.

So has anyone registered your vehicle for the show? I did register my old rust bucket '53. Haven't received my packet yet. I'm not expecting to win anything but my grandson insisted I register. I am just looking forward to a good time.

Craig,
Here is a satellite view of the Buttered Biscuit. You will need to copy and paste it to your browser. https://www.websearch.com/maps/@35.5257434,-82.9857275,72m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en

Doesn't look like they have enough parking space for an RV. However, there seems to be an abandoned parking lot just to the right of there. Plenty of room there.

We will be coming from Chattanooga up I 24 and either 441 or I 840 that connects to Lebanon on Thursday.

It would be good to meet on Thursday evening as a group.

I'll be trailering from Flint Michigan on Thursday the 8th. I-75 south. Heading to Crossville, then driving to Lebanon Friday morning.

Anyone going to be coming from Crossville area Friday morning?
