Finally getting toward the end of my 1955 GMC truck project, and I have a couple of pieces I can't figure out.
I feel like they're most likely from the front end, but it's not obvious (to me) where they go. The first set feels like a frame for the license plate bracket or front emblem, but doesn't seem to line up in a way that makes sense for either of those. The two big plates, I have no idea at all. The little curve in them reminds me of wheel arch, but there's really no place to go there.
I'd appreciate any help!

Hy Richter12x2, is your truck a 55A or first series or a B or second series? I think the first brackets may be something to do with the grill, I think the two big plates belong at the bottom of the right and left door posts on the inside of the cab, hope that helps.
Sorry, should have stated it's 2nd Series. I kinda thought that way on the brackets, but I couldn't make them line up to anything. Right now the 100 badge and thing behind that isn't mounted though, and I only just pulled the bumper to install the big filler plate that goes over the back of the bumper, and I haven't tried it with that in place yet.
Door posts on the inside of the cab... I'll have to take a look at that, they definitely don't seem to have a place up in the front clip area, but also pretty clearly have a left and right feel to them.
Thank you, I'll check a bit later and let you know
