1941 Horn Button / Steering Column Parts

Hello,

I have a '41 3/4 Ton owned for several years. The horn button has always been stuck down, no movement, horn wire disconnected, and looks like they rigged a second horn button on the left top of the dash. Also disconnected.

Found a neat horn, but need to get the button working.

Also have developed a "clicking" catching in the column when trining the wheel, so figured I'd replace anything I need to at the top of the column including all the horn assembly parts.

Is there a group out there that sells the parts necessary to replace the existing horn parts and bearing at the top of the column?

I do drive this and don't want to pull the wheel and have it apart for weeks finding parts. I'd like to order what I need and do it all at once.

Any advice or guidance appreciated.

Thank you,
Fred

I found this: https://store.fillingstation.com/detail/DC-008/Chevrolet_193963_UPPER_MAST_JACKET_BEARING.html
They didn't have much for the horn button (retainer and spring) but you might give them a call.

Thank you, that's a great start. Working on finding out what else I need.

Appreciate it.

The Filling Station also has the horn button and retainer and related parts.
