The wife and I went on a poker run on Saturday and it was a pretty day to get out. Didn't win anything but it was nice to get out and meet some new people. The trip was just over 100 miles in the 49 and took about 3 hours with all the stops and got lost once. Some others got lost as well so we felt better.

Sounds like a lot fun ,,nice day ,nice drive too... but,, did you lose a large part of your car in a poker game ? The photo shows very little of it and I for one really wanted to see what the car looks like that gave you so much fun. ( just funnin with ya Ole ),, thanks for sharing this with us . Question : can I see the 49 in the daily driver section of this forum ?

Idaho, yes AD style trucks came out with the vent window but you can't always distinguish model years by the doors as they interchange for several years.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Achipmuck is right. I have 52 doors on my 49. I Like the push button door handles vs the swing down.

I like the push button door handles best to.. Was the metal between each row of chrome on your grille grey painted when before you restored it.?.
