"Because none of us are as smart as all of us!" Is the motto/statement on the 'bolt homepage. So true. The interweb calls it crowdsourcing. I was reminded of when I was a bus driver. One of the temp drivers did a survey of what drivers did in their off hours. I was stupefied by the breadth of experiences. They ranged from nothing all the way to an ex Nam Corpsman who was prepping for medical school. In between there were poets, musicians, bodybuilders, remodelers, cooks, gardeners, even a couple of ministers. People were caring for parents, and children. We decided, after reading his report ( it was for a university sociclass) that there probably was no problem that one of us couldn't help with.

Jim, considering the backgrounds represented here on Stovebolt cover a fairly impressive array of backgrounds from high schoolers to a folks with some pretty advanced degrees, and pretty much all the trades in between ... I'd say that your conclusion is valid here, as well.
