Meet Ethyl. I just had to rescue this awesome 1947 Chevrolet Loadmaster, 2 Ton, Fuel Delivery Truck that’s been sitting in a construction lot on a farm in Coolidge. Great addition to the vintage gas station plans. Very complete, but not running. Original 235ci, Straight 6, 4 speed, with 2 speed differential. Originally red and was owned by a fuel service company. At some point it was painted yellow and sold to the farmer I bought it from. He’s owned it for the last 30 years. After a hard life of serving the working world well, Ethyl, will now enjoy a life of leisure and a complete update at a later date. I'll save the wild story of getting her home for another post! I have scoured the web without finding another one like her with fuel tanks. I would love to know if anyone here has any knowledge of another one like her.
Welcome to Stovebolt and congrats on saving Ethyl from the tin worms and crushing monster.
Be sure and drop in at the BIG BOLT FORUM....and any help can be gotten by asking questions in the most appropiate forums. Looking forward to your future post and updates. Visit often and watch for other bolters in your area/state. They are quite a few here and also neighboring areas.
