Hi Bolters, I have disassembled the front grill on my one ton and noticed that I'm missing the top horrizontal piece that bolts into the two vertical pieces behind the grill assembly. It bolts into two holes that are 14 1/2" apart. Looks like it is folded a few times on the pictures of replacement grills. Anybody out ther have one of these that they would care to part with. I've seen them as part of new grills but I don't need a new grill, just the top part. Thanks in advance for any help you may have.

Ric,

If you are not a member of oldGMCtrucks.com [oldgmctrucks.infopop.cc], you might want to also join that group.

For those reading this, Mother,Trucker came through for me and this is the completed result. Thanks to him my grill is complete and reinstalled. Though you can't see the piece, it is there doing its job supporting the upper center of the grill now attached to the lower shroud.
