At least the kid survived- - - - -back in the late 1990's, one of my auto mechanics students (14 years old) and two of his friends stole a vehicle about 20 miles north of Nashville and got into a high speed chase with several police cars in pursuit. The driver missed a turn at 100+ MPH and wrapped the car around a big tree about 3 feet in diameter. All three kids were killed, and it took two big wreckers to peel the car off the tree.
