Why do all microwave oven doors open from the right? Can't seem to find any that open from the left. That just seems strange to me.

Denny that sounds like a plan to me. My microwave is positioned in a right hand corner of the room. So if the door opened the other way it would make life easier.

I always figured since the latch for them couldn't be moved or changed, they just picked the most common approach and left it at that.
