Im replacing the floor on my 55, and so far, not pulled any that were machine thread, but ill collect the ones i do pull and be happy to shoot them to you. I know this will sound like a scam, but i dont want to sell them, they would be free.. lol and no i sure dont want anyones first born. haha. so far ive only pulled out some from the trans cover, but ive just started the project.

Those bolts may be the same size as the fender bolts. Some of the vendors sell clutch head bolts. link [oldchevytrucks.com] Just a thought. You'd have to bury them for a while to get the patina to match, though.

I believe those interior sheet metal screws are 8-32 (certainly not a fender bolt). The vendors sell new ones but they won't have the patina you want. If your original screws can't be reused send me a private message; I think I have a few used ones with patina stashed somewhere. Kent
Well either my truck didnt come with clutch head or mine were replaced with newer ones, because the only ones i found were in the floor pan. granted, mines a 55.2, so im not shocked either way. sorry i couldnt help.
