It's time for someone else to be the caretaker of the nice Fire Engine.
It served Fredericksburg, PA for 38 years (1957-95). It has a John Bean High Pressure Fog service body with a 500 gpm main pump and a 500 gallon tank. The High Pressure Fog pump puts out 30 gpm at 850 psi.
This truck will run 65 mph all day long and has been on many 1000+ mile trips. The odometer shows 41+K miles (when I got it in 2002 it had 11K miles). It has the 322 Nail Head V8 with a 5+2 trans/rear running 22.5 tubeless radials (10.00 fronts and 11.00 rears).
This truck was used to model the 2011 Hallmark Christmas Ornament.
All of the fire equipment goes with the truck including the original signed contract between Fredericksburg, PA and John Bean to install the service body on the Chevrolet chassis, the maintenance manuals, helmets, jackets, pants, proximity suit, indian cans, axes, nozzles, hoses, ladders etc.
Asking $12,000
