Dale passed Feb. 3 after four year battle with cancer. For all two wheeled enthusiasts he ran Wheels Through Time museum in Maggie Valley NC . THE ONLY museum where every motorcycle runs. He was a friendly, knowledgeable, great man. If you’re in that area stop by the place and what he created. A remarkable museum

I had the honor of meeting Dale during a visit to "Wheels Through Time" a few years ago. He actually rode a 1912 motorcycle into the lobby after picking up pizza for his staff. It was the same bike he rode later that year in the Cannon ball event for 100 year old and plus bikes. He was a genuine individual that loved what he did and sharing it with others. After we talked for a while he started up the 1938 Crocker I had been looking at, second kick was all it took... A true legend he will be missed. RIP.

This thread is destined for the Greasy Spoon. Read the forum guidelines and you will readily see that his passing does not fit. He wasn’t a member nor was he a known Stovebolt guy. This by no means is intended to be disrespectful just pointing out the error of posting it here.
