To All,
Attached are links to find some of the local hotels as well as the State Park. A few of us are reserving Cabins or Camp Ground spaces in Cedars of Lebanon State Park.
I will be reserving a pavilion for our use on Friday and possibly Saturday night. The cabins range from 120 - 258 per night. Some members have suggested sharing a Cabin to split the cost. The Camp Grounds rates are $26.00 weekdays and $27.00 weekends. I will be staying in the Camp Ground.

https://gmtruckshow.com/ (links to where to stay are on this web page)

Please Note that area hotels are offering a special rates for the GM Truck Nationals event, this event is scheduled for 2 days (Friday and Saturday) as such you may want to reserve your rooms early.

Good Luck with your plans, I hope to see you all there, Craig

I have reservations at My Place Hotel. Very clean and affordable but you want to go to their website for the best rate instead of those travel sites.

Jerry pencil me in to share the cabin with you.
I’ll confirm in May and share the cost.
You going to have any of that clear liquid in a mason jar? If you do, after the day is done, I may just take a whiff or two.

My buddy called that stuff his "liquid grits"- - - -also "Popcorn's Revenge" (Popcorn Sutton). He's gone now after a long battle with cancer, but I've still got a little of his product stashed away. I'll be glad to share a sip or three in his memory! I'll also be bringing the grill and the smoke pellets, so some pulled pork is also on the agenda. You're definitely on the reservation list!

Jerry, if you do the smoking, I’ll bring the deep frier for some side snacks.
Tater chips, pork rinds and mystery food can be on the menu.
I draw the line on deep fried Twinkie's though. It just don’t sound right.
Don’t know yet if the wife will be with me, I give that a 50/50 chance.
She likes to be lake side during the summer.

As for the grits, I will be happy to toast to your friend at the end of the day!

I've also got a pretty big stash of the heirloom cornmeal that shine was made from- - - - -Maybe we could interest Alvin in some corn dogs made with that stuff!

Corn Dogs? I have done frozen store bought ones before. Dip in a horseradish/ketchup mix and they are good!
A horseradish mustard is also good dipping sauce.
Never made them from scratch before, that could be interesting to try it. Use sausage links instead of hotdogs?

How about deep fried grits balls?

Hush puppies can also be on the menu.

OK- - - -got a next door neighbor! Looking forward to meeting y'all! I was in Crossville about a week ago, doing a test drive on a KIA with transmission problems for a BBB arbitrator. Most of us claim inspectors believe KIA stands for "Killed In Action"!
