My wife and I was rooting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and boy did they when big time. Patric Mahomes got schooled by the old man. Mahomes looked like a rookie trying to get anything to work and looking bad doing it.

He wasn't sharp at all. Missed a lot of relatively easy passes. He's been a half a beat off since his pinched nerve injury.

Old age and treachery beats youth and inexperience every time. grin

To Mahomes' credit he got close on some passes when he was under pretty extreme pressure. That one when he was horizontal and got within 5 ft of the receiver was impressive.
His linemen couldn't protect him against the Buc's defensive line.

Right from the start Kansas City didn't look their usual selves. Bad time to have an off game, obviously.

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.

When I was watching the game, i couldn't help but notice how calm the expression was on Brady's face. Early in the game he had a couple of 3 and outs. His face and body language was the definition of calmness. His demeanor was the same after subsequent successes.
The kid on the other sideline? Not so much.

Yeah, late in the game, Mahones' expression looked pretty whipped.

52Carl,
I noticed the same thing regarding the calmness of Brady. My AZ Cardinals have a talented QB, however, he pouts, hangs his head, etc. when things don't go well and I don't like that. I know, I know, I am old school. Fifty one years ago I was starting on a good (not great) high school basketball team and our style of play was run and gun, full court press nearly all the time. We averaged 70+ points per game (not bad for 8 minute quarters). Despite that, our coach was calm and controlled. During timeouts we gathered around him to hear what wisdom he was going to impart so that we would win the game. During the game he didn't say much, just let us play fast and react to what was happening on the court. Today, I see many college coaches yelling constantly at their players. I would not want to play for a coach like that as it would be distracting to listen to the guy yelling from the sideline while I was reacting to the flow of the game.

I think the Bucs defense was the difference and not all of it was Mahomes's fault.

What Kent said. I am not a sports fan but if you have to always look over your shoulder and worry about someone shouting is not a good way to play a game. of any kind.
