It is nice to see a new tolerance for smaller "trucks" (the LUV).

It is also nice to be tolerant of a non-GM-made smaller truck - a foreign/Asian-manufactured non-GM-made smaller truck.

Isuzu LUV [en.wikipedia.org] - Isuzu Faster [en.wikipedia.org]

That same tolerance was not shown here for larger small trucks (Panel Delivery & Corvair Vans). They were American designed & manufactured (and, were listed in the Truck Data Books for Salesmen). Most posts were moved to the Greasy Spoon. One of those trucks even had a high-pressure Stovebolt 235 engine.

I know, an interest in consistency "is the hobgoblin of little minds".

Nonetheless - thanks for the change of heart/belief for the LUV.

- If you have to stomp on your foot-pedal starter, either you, or your starter, or your engine, has a problem.
- The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" - this is a splash oiler. [chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com]
