Any recommendations? Stay away from? Shes been working from home but recently gets kicked off wifi every so often.
Later Ill run decated lines but for now just need to by a cable to get hooked up

Cat 5e or cat 6 is more than enough to handle the network speed of any home router or computer network card. Round or flat is your preference. I use round unless I need to pass it thru a window. Buy a 100’ cable with pre made up ends and coil up what you don’t use.

At my old office, we needed to connect two buildings, which had two 25 pair phone cables buried underground. We used part of those to connect the network (along with the phones) and it has been running fine for years. The two buildings are at least 50 ft away, and there are two punch-down blocks in the line as well. Moral of that story is the just about any old wire with twisted pairs will work.
