Nope, scaled the original car down 3/4 and mounted a print on a board backing.
Taking all my dimensions off of that.

Tried the chassis on for size last winter right before I broke
my wrist. That put a stop to the work for the rest of 2017.
Hope to finish up the chassis in a month or so.

Be careful, the first thing you're gonna want to do is give it a little more umph!!!
And that doesn't go over to big on the CK forums. I know, cuz I've been pretty
much been banished because I dared talk about improving the performance
power wise and handling.
The CK community is pretty adamant about keeping them under powered and
lacking in suspension cept for the buggy seat springs up front.
So.....if you do decide to throw one together over the winter....use the KISS guideline.

Well, been a couple of busy years since I posted this. And, there were a couple of guys
asking about the hobby. Like I need another hobby.....!!!!!
Still got Old Blue my '50 and New Blue the '54 but kind of put the both on the back burner
this last year so I could finish up the Riley Cyclekart. We've got a few meets coming up in
2021 if they can get this Corona thing under control and get us some shots. Gotta be carful
with my accountant you know, I need her around to take care of my estate for another 21 1/2 years.
So, the Riley Brooklands is 95% finished and just a few minor changes to be made over the
winter. No, there were no plans, all had to be drawn out made and remade a couple or three
times till I got it right, and even then.....as I said, got some changes upcoming.
Speed so far has topped of at around 45 mph and I haven't made any of the mod to the engine
yet, 'cept to get rid of the stock air filter and muffler and disable the governor.
So if ya run out of things to watch here are some pretty poorly made videos I've been shooting
since I got her running last month.

Yeah, and like the heading says, Fun......on a few bucks.
I got a bit more that the average invested in this one, because
it's a bit more than the basic design that a good number of the
guys are building.
Gonna be a meet in conjunction with a go karting event down at
the Brickyard next summer and a big weekend gathering out in
Huntsville, UT in May. That last one should draw somewhere
around 40 cars.
Getting plans on the drawing board for #2. Hoping that will go
a little quicker than #1 because I've got lots of spare parts and
material plus I've added some new body shaping equipment to
the shop. Need to start thinking about something my new grandson
can drive, he'll be 2 in the spring. I'd like to get him in a car as
soon as I can before he gets spoiled by his dad and just wants to
doodle with internet games.

That grandson is in for ride of his life with the machinery he will have at his fingertips my grandchildren watched the YouTube video with me this morning and asked if I could make them a bike and cart they were impressed have to settle for rides in the 57 I made them a ninja trail in backyard

Hello, Denny,

When my Granddaughter (5 yr) and Grandson (2 yr) regularly visit, it hard for them to decide if they want to go for an on/off-road ride in the electric golf cart, or, a full-speed main-road ride in the Suburban.

I have an easy way to attach a legal child-car-seat in row-2 and in row-3 in my Suburban. I could get up to 5 of these child seats installed. They can each be removed in about 3 minutes.

Got about 4" of snow last night, then it rained on top of that and everything

Haven't taken Patrick for a rid in 'Old Blue' yet. His mother is still a bit over
protective you know, cus it ain't got no seat belts, crash dash or crumple zone.
Almost positive she's not gonna let me put him in a kart.
So, we're gonna have to do that when his mother's at the shopping mall.
