https://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-Chevrolet-Other-Pickups/143818142289Interesting 3/4-ton pickup. I don’t understand the VIN. It’s not the original vehicle serial number. Maybe it’s a State assigned VIN...? My first old truck in 1989 was a 55.1 3600. I should have kept it.

Yea, Hard to tell...but that VIN plate looks Brand New..and so does the Rivets holding it....they both should show 65 years of wear...weather ect.

Its been taken down. Good observation on the Vin Tag, looks new for sure.

Pulsator is most likely a block heater ,it heats the coolant and it is recirculated through the engine for cold winter starts

I went and met with the owner today. She is going to revise the advertisement. It is a solid truck, runs and drives well. Early model 235 and 4-speed.
All accessories (heater, signals, wipers etc) work.
Needs minimal TLC/tune-up and fluid flush, and will make a great daily driver.
