Well, you did drive somewhere to get the alternator. Don’t you dare tell us what you drove.

I got the S10 5 speed installed in my truck and got the carburetor adjusted correctly in the past couple weeks. I took it out last evening for a spin and ended up at WalMart for some things, before coming home. It drives so much better now. This weekend I'll be participating in the Hot Rod Hundred here in St. Louis. Looking forward to driving it in that event.

Made the 15 mile trip to a co-workers farm, loaded 100 bales of hay on the '57 2 ton, a few bales of straw in the new pick-up and brought her back home with no issues, runs great and doesn't even know it has the load on it. I'm hoping to make a little more head-way on restoration this winter but for now it's fun to work it.

Just brought mine (49 3600) to the rifle range (about 10 miles round trip) for a quick muzzleloader shoot, the youngest is wearing a coonskin cap a la Davey Crockett (like a kid in the 50s????).

Used the box for some loading and staging. Drove awesome, really getting the hang of the older non-synchro 4 speed someone had swapped in there. Sounds like a Panzer tank.

Started raining on the way home (we've only had about six rain-free days since last January) and I always get a kick out of the vaccuum wipers!

Another Sunday cruise into town for breakfast. The ‘62 C-10 enjoyed the cool morning. Really running strong.

I drove Ol'66 in the St Louis Hot Rod Hundred on Saturday. From the time I left the house until we return we drove just over 200 miles. Here is a picture the photographer took of us along the route.

Drove my 49 out to the local RC Flying field where I meet a good fiend of mine who has a 1981 Corvette. We took some pics and then enjoyed what flying that was going on and swapped lies with a few of the ole boys I haven't seen in a while. I've been involved with RC planes for over 40 years but got out of the hobby for the past 4 years or so due to being involved in the Hot Rod Cruise-ins so much on the weekends. Since I retired on Sept. 30th of this year I'll probably get back into the hobby.
