We tied Kansas City for having three Advance Design 1-tons together at one event. (At Kansas City, all three were pickups, though). We had four, counting Don King's Task Force flatbed. Of the AD's, we had two 3804's (mine and Billy Marlow's) and one 3801 (Amtrak Joe's). If Jim Schmidt had been able to bring his 3804 ... next year!

You should have! It would have fit right in. Here are some shots from the 1-Ton rendezvous at Kansas City in '14. Joe Miller's truck doesn't stand out ... much. The other one is Jim Carter's.
Join us next year. Hopefully Jim will have his truck there, too, and we can have 5 ... as well as the mystery truck that showed up while Sweet and I were working the gate that would make six.
Plus, you could take the Long Distance Award away from Don

There seems to an under representation of the early 60's models in attendance at the event , hopefully all things being equal I'll make it down for the 2021 meet .
I agree John, without you,and Hambone only bringing one of possible three trucks,it was a pretty skinny year for us 60 66 c series classics. There is always next year. Pat66

My plan for next year is to head for a little island on the west coast of Canada called Vancouver Island . I hope to be back in time to attend Winchester . I will be hauling some tools and spare parts .
If Hambone had brought his whole collection the 60-66 crowd would have been better represented.....just saying. John, your truck is looking good! You have been busy.
