1953 Tail lights

Need to get tail lights for a 53 6400.

Found 47-53 style lights all over the internet. Just need some cheapos for this. Question, are there tail lights available that have a tail and two stop turn circuits. As you guessed need to wire brakes to one and aftermarket turn signal to the other. OR, do I need to install two fixtures per side to have tail, stop and turn?

Thank you

Jack

If your not looking for original style tail lights, you can buy Universal Truck Tail lights from eBay for $30-$40 (for both) that would have both tail/stop/turn in each light housing. If your system is still 6 volts, you’ll need the change the bulbs to 6 volts.

Stay away from LED lights “unless” you also change the front parking lights. In that case you would also need to change the flasher to a LED flasher.
