is there any passenger car rear end that will fit a 49 3100? I want to go from a 4-3/4 lug pattern to a -1/2 any suggestions?

"Hey! I sound like Darth Vader!!
4-1/2 lug pattern puts you in to Ferds. You could always have a 9" made exactly the way you want it.

Chrysler 8.25 from a Jeep Cherokee XJ
Ford 8.8 from multiple sources. Explorer being the easiest tho a bit narrow.
Dana 44 from a Jeep Grand Cherokee. This is an aluminum center section 44
The Honda Rodeo / Isuzu Passport also used a Dana 44 but had 6 lug shafts.
