Help for 55 chevy 3100 it was fine when I parked the truck, I left it in neutral in the garage when I went back out to run it I started the truck no problem, I put it the clutch and tried to get it in gear and all it did was grind? I then turned off the truck put it in gear and attempted to start with my foot on the clutch and the truck moved forward with the clutch in and while it was turning over, kept working clutch to no avail
can anyone help with this problem? Thanks Daddy D

Clutch plate is stuck to the flywheel. Your procedure should free it up. If not you may have to crawl under and use a putty knife and hammer to free it. Once you get it free driving it will smooth everything back up. Drive it more often!

My '38 did the same thing this week. I haven't driven it in about 4 weeks. I started it in reverse and it popped loose. I have had to use the putty knife deal before.
